EMILY HORNA
Emily is a Summa Cum Laude Lawyer, graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has more than nine (9) years of experience representing public and private companies in national and international arbitration, administrative and constitutional litigation.
She also has specialized studies in International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Arbitration, certified by the American University Washington College of Law, the CIDS Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement and the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration.
She has previously worked at Santiváñez Abogados as Head of the Arbitration and Litigation area, at Quiñones Alayza Abogados as Leader of the Arbitration area, and at Estudio Echecopar Abogados, an associated firm of Baker & McKenzie International, as senior associate in charge of the Dispute Prevention and Resolution area.
Her professional practice has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Who's Who Legal, The Legal 500 and Leaders League Peru in the categories of Arbitration and Administrative Litigation, mainly for the sponsorship of disputes related to infrastructure projects and regulated sectors (energy and telecommunications).
She is an Arbitrator Intelligence ambassador for LATAM and an arbitrator for the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, AmCham and Marc Peru.
She is fluent in Spanish and English.
